One of the best books on Green Men around; one of the first and still one of the most influential.
This and Anderson's 'Green Man' are my most useful reference books on the subject.

A tight and short introductory essay is followed by a large gallery of plates. The photographs are clear and cover a wide range of image styles and designs, from the very rudimentary to the very refined. I've spent hours on these with a magnifying glass! Lots here to inspire and stimulate the carver of Green Men.
