What we woodcarvers need are great photographs of Green Men, and you get them with this book! Not so many - it's a small book - but they really are among the best around, almost better than the real thing...

Harding has also written a tight, but very clear, overview of the Green Man motif and includes examples from as far afield as Borneo and Kathmandu.

Anyone interested in this field must get this fresh and useful book.
If you know little about Green Men, this is an excellent introduction.
